Does anyone know anything about narcissistic personlity disorder? Someone close to me (not Jamie) was diagnosed with it a few days ago....Any comments would be appreciated.
BTW- I am still in pain!!! When will it end???? damn nordictrack. my butt better get small in a hurry!!

Yeah, i've met people with that diagnosis. Its common "unofficially" but the official diagnosis itself is not as common. Their diagnosis isn't "them" just like bipolar isn't "us." Has this person been getting into trouble, or having conflict with you, or anything like that lately?
Having a diagosis of any kind helps us understand people better because it is a combination of traits or symptoms that are 'bundled together' and found across a certain percentage of people.
I hope everything is ok with you and the person you speak of!!
not sure about the NPD, but I feel your pain with the nordictrak.
I am trying to exercise to see if it will help me any, controlling moods and all. Positive - a lot of my period bloating has diminished.
Negative - I hurt!
You would not believe it... since your post i totally have a close person in my life who has that. It was right in front of my eyes. I knew something was off and now i totally get it. I don't know what personality disorder is worse... its a toss up...
